Welcome Note – 6th World Congress on Electroporation (WCE2026)

Daytona Beach, Florida, USA • September 27 – October 1, 2026

On behalf of the International Organizing Committee and Local Organizing Committee, it is our privilege and great pleasure to warmly welcome you to Daytona Beach, Florida, for the 6th World Congress on Electroporation and Pulsed Electric Fields in Biology, Medicine, Food, and Environmental Technologies (WCE2026).

From 27 September to 1 October 2026, the Congress will gather scientists, clinicians, engineers, industry partners, and students from across the globe to advance basic and applied electroporation science, to share cutting-edge knowledge, and to foster interdisciplinary collaboration. As in previous years, the Congress will begin with an Educational Session, open especially to students and young researchers wishing to deepen their understanding of electroporation and pulsed electric fields.

WCE2026 will feature plenary lectures from leading international experts, parallel scientific sessions, poster presentations, industry exhibitions, and dedicated opportunities for young investigators to learn, present, and network. In addition, special issues and awards will be announced closer to the meeting.

The Congress will be held at the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort, located directly on the “World’s Most Famous Beach” in the heart of Ocean Walk Village. With breathtaking ocean views, immediate beach access, and numerous dining and leisure options, this venue provides a vibrant and memorable environment for scientific exchange. The hotel’s extensive facilities—including spacious conference halls, ocean-view gathering spaces, and a terrace overlooking the Atlantic—will also host our social events, including the Congress Gala Dinner on the oceanfront deck.

Beyond the scientific program, we invite you to enjoy the unique experiences of the Daytona Beach area—from its iconic shoreline and lively boardwalk to the Daytona International Speedway, nature trails, the Halifax River, and easy day trips to the Kennedy Space Center, Orlando’s theme parks, and the Florida Space Coast.

We look forward to welcoming you to Florida for a week of science, collaboration, and coastal inspiration.

Come to Daytona Beach—Science at the Sea awaits!
